Don't change a thing! We "found" Cedar Crest while passing through on our way to Acadia National Park. We decided to stay here because of the quaint garden area and well-kept appearance. We were very pleasantly surprised upon opening the door and finding the room so homey and inviting. The decor is very nice and the updated bathroom was another great feature. Everything was clean, in working order and generous. And the waterfall trickling outside the door...WHAT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE

Cedar Crest Motel is in my book "a kind find". A very pleasant surprise along coast of Maine. So many pleasantries to name here. The historic info about Cedar Crest sparked an idea: a few passive, solar cabins to help the "green movement" mentioned in the booklet.

It was nice to come into our room and find it so nice. The beds were great and the bathroom strip on the toilet, we hardly ever see anymore. All the other goodies were great and we travel all over the U.S. This is the very top of the best.
